If a wreath of painful thorns is what you love I will go to the desert and there I will learn to ache And if songs you have loved Those who’s been written on stone among the cliffs I will live and in stones I will write and then when we will be covered In sands in the dark and the book of deuteronomy In darkness covered tell me words more beautiful than cry and joy he probably loved me that man
Poetic intervention. I am traveling with Adi Gora, an ethnographic researcher from the University of Lyon. Together, we spent a few days in the village of Illigh and visited the ancient Jewish cemetery. During our visit, we met Aghulid and Amayyur. Aghulid, an archivist and teacher at the School of Art in Tiznit, took us to see the collection of Jewish artifacts in Tiznit's new museum. Amayyur is a theatre professor whose work focuses on reviving the Tamazight language and Amazigh theatre. we couldn’t remember the song, but it came in early morning, and on our way to Illigh.
