A field of small tombs, buried babies and there is no inscription nor identification; just endless small, tooth-shaped tombstones, white, like cubes of sugar. I am

shivering and I feel incredibly messed up, it's heartbreaking and it's beautiful. It's painful, but it

also very tangible. I walk along the mossy stones. In the back of the cemetery, there are more recent graves, tombs

covered with blue marble, and others long, shaped as a grain of rice, with tiny faded inscriptions, engraved on a small tile and embedded on the side of the tomb.
